Fashion Nova Haul/Review

Another shopping haul, another post!

I want to start out by saying Fashion Nova is my all time favorite place to shop. I feel like they literally have anything and everything. I have been happy with all of my purchases in the past with the exception of some sizing issues. I think Fashion Nova has a great variation of the perfect pieces that you can either dress up or down. They have a mix from simple staple pieces to ones that make you feel bad and boujee 😎 I also feel like they are always having amazing sales that make everything super affordable where you really get your money's worth.

I recently purchased a couple items with one of their recent sales. Being that I live in New Jersey, I should've purchased a couple more cozy and warm items since it's snowing here. But for some reason my mind is still on warm weather :) If only spring can come a little faster please!! But I loved everything I bought and will be making another order ASAP!

First, I purchased this army green bomber jacket. When I first tried this on, I wasn't a fan just because it was way puffier than I thought it would be. I did size up with this jacket because I wanted it more oversized but the material is very puffy and big on the bottom of the jacket. Not what I visioned. Which makes my body look a little unflattering. I do love styling this jacket off the shoulder, hanging loose to keep that oversized look. I will say this jacket does keep me warm with this winter weather.

The next thing I purchased was this dragon tie dye dress. Now I am 5'9 and I will say this dress is a little short for me. But this bomber jacket helps with that little problem. Other than that I love this dress and will be wearing it a ton when the weather starts to warm up more.

I purchased this oversized World Tour graphic tee. This tee is very light weight and is super soft. On the website they call this a t-shirt dress but for me that's hard to style that way because it ends up being too short. But I love oversized tees so this is a keeper. I love styling this by tying a knot in the front and pairing with a cute pair of mom jeans.

When I saw these jeans on the Fashion Nova website, I just knew I had to get them! They looked perfect on the model but I was very hesitant in buying these because they are like nothing I own! The only thing about these is that they are huge on me and super long. I didn't size up or anything but I was super disappointed because I wanted these to be perfect. I can always get them hemmed but I recommend sizing down if purchasing these.

I then purchased this brown tank bodysuit and this brown flannel that I love to pair together. Brown has been the color of the year so far for 2021 and I am all for it. This bodysuit is a thick material which I love. I sized up with the flannel so I can style it oversized. I am not a huge flannel person but I love this one and wear it with so many different outfits. So easy to just throw on a neutral outfit. I love the oversized look and its the perfect combo of warm and comfy. 10/10 recommend!

Heres's a better look at the bodysuit:

So of course because I loved the light brown flannel in the picture shown above, I had to get it in the other brown shade they had. Which I am just as obsessed with. You can literally style these with so much and can never go wrong with an oversized flannel.

This satin corset is super cute but if you are big chested, I would be careful. This is definitely a shirt you have to work with but I still do recommend it.

I styled this satin corset with a satin oversized sage blouse. I sized up in this shirt to have that oversized look to wear off the shoulder. The shirt is so versatile and the color is absolutely gorgeous.

This pink bodysuit is such a basic piece but can be worn with so much. Its perfect to dress up or down. The v neck line and the sleeves can also create a beautiful outfit if you push it off your shoulder, making it an off the shoulder look.

I have always been one who sticks more to neutrals but recently I have been trying to step more out of my comfort zone and work more with fun colors so this 3 piece set caught my attention when I saw it. I feel like this set is such a casual yet fancy set. Its super comfy and the color is the perfect baby pink for that pop of color. I even love wearing this set without the cropped cardigan and styling it with a different kind of jacket.

As I talked about in the last look, I love to style this set with this fuzzy pink balloon sleeve jacket. I feel like it dresses up the outfit even more and adds a bit of a fancier look.

I don't have any pictures in this dress because this dress was way too short for me and didn't fit right. I was obsessed with the color of this dress when I first saw it but I should of sized up in it. After not being true to size, another downside of the outfit is that the sequins get EVERYWHERE :( But it is a very beautiful dress overall.

Next, we have this satin champagne top. I love to style this top different than how the model is seen wearing it on the website. The model wraps it around and ties it on her side where there is a little opening to tie it through, but I love to tie it in the front and give it a more loose open front look.

I paired this black square handbag with this look. I prefer small purses so this bag is perfect for me. I feel like this bag adds more to the outfit.

I love how you can style this bag so many ways such as, on the shoulder, crossbody (which is how the model styled it and I loved) and without the strap.

This cardigan is the cutest cropped cardigan I own. I love the way you can style this: by placing a cute tank/bralette underneath, or just wearing the cardigan and making it a off the shoulder look on one of the sides. This cardigan is also super warm just by itself and super cozy.

I do like this bodysuit BUT I had different expectations for it before it arrived. In the picture on the website it looked like a more sage green so I expected the color to be more of a lighter shade. But when it arrived, all I got was a dark green bodysuit. Also, I love the cutout on this bodysuit but the fabric with the clasps are too long so it makes the back of the bodysuit look baggy and doesn't sit right.

This is my favorite piece that I purchased from Fashion Nova. If you know me, you know I love butterflies so this was a must buy for me. This bodysuit is the perfect sheer, lightweight, colorful top. Its another top that can be styled up or down, casual or fancy. I will definitely be wearing this so much and will be styling it in so many different ways. I highly recommend!!

I love styling this with a heeled bootie as well. Dresses the outfit up 10x more!!

This shirt is just a staple piece for everybody. Simple black shirt but adds a little more with the black tie detailing. I love when shirts have cutouts in the back. I think they help define your body from the back. This material is super soft and stretchy and overall a perfect top.

This black zip up long sleeve is a fav for me. There are two zippers on this top, one that zips up and the other zips down, so you can figure out which way you want to style it. I love styling this by placing both zippers in the center creating a very cutout look. This top also has a cute graphic on it with a white rose that says "La vie en rose".

The last thing I purchased was this yellow long sleeve crop top. This is another top that I thought was going to be a lighter shade of yellow but it ended up being a bit more golden. I still love it though! I absolutely love the little cutout under the chest and the ruched detailing. Simple but you can always dress up. I love styling this with a nice pair of heels and a black skinny jean.
